There might be a way to force it to launch with only 1 core every time but I don't know how to do it. You have to remember to reset the processor affinity to only 1 core every time you launch the game. In the Processor affinity window, uncheck and check only 'CPU 0' You should now be in the details tab with FalloutNV.exe highlighted. Go to 'Processes' tab and Find FalloutNV, right click it and click 'Go to details' I got new vegas to start the new game without crashing but it didnt seem to work on fo3(see edit below for fo3).Īlt + Tab out and press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to access the task manager
So I got the idea today to try that fix on fo:nv and fo3 (I tried everything in the sidebar to get both to work already).
I was trying to get Bully to work on my windows 10 pc the other day and ran into a fix that made it work perfectly.
